Hey everyone, do my brakes look weird or off? Is there something wrong with my Corolla's brakes?

The other day I was driving and came to a stop and heard a loud noise that sounded like metal falling and hitting something. I have never personally taken a look at my brake pads or caliper so I am not sure if this looks weird and out of place. Help would be great! Thanks!

    You should take the wheel off and see what's what. Could be something stuck in there, like road debris.
