Constant Beeping and Dash Alert - 2016 Honda CR-V

Hello all :)

Recently my wife's 2016 CR-V has been beeping at her while driving and flashing a yellow symbol that looks to be telling her to take control of the vehicle (two hands on a steering wheel). However, LKAS is not on and she does not let loose the steering wheel while driving. Is this a common problem? I've attached a photo of the dash. Thank you for you help!

It sure sounds like the system is switched on.

If you are sure it's not on, then I'd see your dealer for a service call.

If LKAS was on, would it not have the lane indicators on both sides of the car icon in the picture? In any regard, she is definitely not taking her hands off the wheel so I don't think it should be warning her to do so. Looks like a visit to the ol' dealer. Grumble...

Having the same problem with the 2016 CRV I just picked up. What was the final outcome for your warning light issue? Thanks.

Turn off both the Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Assist System.
The symbol looks like a steering wheel.
