The only way to solve this is to be able to determine, at the time the engine fails, what has "been lost". Did you lose spark, fuel pressure or injector pulse? So in order to diagnose these things, you will need a spark tester, a NOID light (for injector pulse) and a fuel pressure gauge. Otherwise, you can only guess.
Also, get a code reader and see if any codes are stored. That might give you a hint, but again, the codes are ONLY hints--they do not necessarily tell you which part is defective. But if you're getting say, codes for crank or cam positioning sensors, either of those failures could cause your symptoms. But so too could a weak fuel pump or some glitch in the wiring.
Stalling problems like this can be tricky, and you may need to have a technician with a professional scanner to read the data in "real time" to see what's happening exactly when it happens.5
