Are you a current or recent car shopper who bought an EV and then installed solar – or who had solar already, making the decision to go electric easier?
OR
Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Were you convinced to buy an EV after finding a good end-of-year deal, or due to uncertainty around which EVs will no longer qualify for full/partial EV tax credits in 2024? My daughter has a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox that she bought used. I've read all of the comments regarding this issue. It IS NOT normal to have to put oil into these new engines every 500 miles UNLESS there is some sort of manufacturer defect. I drove my mercury till it had nearly 200,000 miles on it and it never used a drop of oil. I only got rid of it because it was totaled! I've driven all types of vehicles, including Chevrolets. This is total crap. is there any sort of recall that has been put out on this. She is raising a family on her own and cannot afford a huge repair bill because of some design flaw.
