2014 with 10k mi or 2016 with 30k mi?

I'm kind of convinced a mazda 3 is my rightful car and I've been looking at deals I can get online. I saw an option for a 2014 i-touring with 10k miles for 14,750 and a 2016 with ~29k miles for 14,250 (it's either an i-sport with 16" alloy wheels or an i-touring (it's not been fully processed in their inventory yet but it mentions the wheels and blind-spot detection, which I know don't come on stock i-sport)).

It seems really hard to get a general answer to this. I know it varies more by how they're treated, but I don't really know enough about cars to sleuth that answer so I'm kind of just throwing a net out for opinions I know can't be absolute.

Well if both cars are othewise equal, I'd tend to go with the 2016 because you have some warranty left, and secondly, because the difference in the miles, 14K, isn't that much.

Also, a very inactive car with low miles isn't necessary a good thing.

Last of all, Mazda put a number of new features on the 2016 models, like standard rear-view camera, and on the touring models, auto headlights, sunroof and auto wipers.

Thanks, I was starting to think along the same lines after I posted (I reserved the 2016 on the website I'm using), and it feels good to have someone reinforce it. Although, I'm getting weirded out that the vin checker I used says it's manual, but the seller website says it's shiftable automatic.
