Maybe the reason for finding so many fords and chevys is because they make many more trucks than toyota does. If i remember correctly from my math in another forum june 2000 chevy outsold toyota trucks 6 to 1. Many more chevys than toyotas out there and just think if you add fords even more than chevy. Just a thought

Dodge has the most room to work on under the hood.
Dodge has kept their truck simple well all the other truck makers have gotten more complex. I hate to work on a new Ford or Chevy no room under the hood.

Have you looked under the hood of a Tundra? The engine compartment is very spacious. All of the maintainance are very accessable. You could change plugs in 5 min.

You're absolutely right. Chevy and ford sells many times more trucks than Toyota. Fleet sales are huge and so is the tax write off for these vehicles when the company sells them. A typical company buys a chevy, ford or dodge for 2/3 the cost an average private party pays. You'd think with the millions of trucks the big 3 sell every year that the market would be saturated with them and no new chevy/ford/doge trucks would be needed. By comparison Toyota trucks with 150K are garnering high resale prices.

You found out about the toyota conspiracy. They use billions of dollars worth of electronic lightwave manipulating equipment to make the Tundra look bigger than it really is. In reality it's only about 5 feet long and 3 feet high. The people who own them are shrunk down without their knowledge to fit inside these teeny trucks. Gas is actually evaporated into the atmospere to simulate a real big engine is burning it while the actual engine is manufatured by Singer. The only full size piece of equipment in the Tundra is the battery (needed to run the engine).
