A little over 6% off sticker; there may be a few more hundred you could negotiate off the price.

    Were you quoted a payment?

Those are the correct MF and residual numbers.

    Hello,
I live in San Jose, CA and just signed a 2017 sDrive35 36mth 10k miles/yr lease and was hoping to get feedback on the deal details below please!  Appreciate any feedback on how good (or average) this deal was:

    Mileage:  11 miles
    MSRP:  $65,645
    Residual:  58%
    lease end value:  $38,074
    Initial cap cost:  $58,584
    customer cash down:  $3750
    rebate:  $3000
    Cash cap reduction:  $2023
    DMV Amt:  $461
    MF:  .00151
    Total adds to cap:  $925
    Adjusted Cap Cost:  $54,485
    Base Monthly Rental:  $595.65
    Tax Rate/amount:  9% / $53.61 per month
    Total Monthly Payment:  $649.29
    Total initial fees:  $116
    Total upfront fees:  $502
    Total Sales Tax:  $2389.27
    Amount Due at start:  $3750
    2nd payment date:  9/25/17
    Total working cash:  $3750

Basically I left the dealer today with $3750 payment which included initial first months payment of $649.29.  I have 35 payments left.

The GM said they were losing money on this deal and mentioned invoice for them was ~$61,000 and the client advisor mentioned this was a smoking deal.

My gut says that I did really well however I still think the dealer was profitable on this deal?

This forum was very helpful in negotiating my deal.  Thanks everyone!

First, don't worry whether the dealer made money on your deal or not - they wouldn't have agreed unless they were making money somewhere.

Second, I agree with the math on the deal.

Third, we aren't big fans of cap reductions on leases - it masks the true cost of the lease, and that money is at risk if the car is stolen or totaled.

Congrats on the new deal, and enjoy your new BMW!
