My 2003 jetta will act like its it's running out of gas until it warms up don't do it all the tme

    First thing I'd do is pull the codes with a scan tool or code reader and see if you get any hints. If that doesn't show anything, you'd probably want to hook up a fuel pressure tester when you first start the car and see if you're having a problem with fuel delivery. Also when was your last tune up and your last fuel filter change?

    I'm not sure but it will not crank at all sometimes and I have full power from the battery

    I can pull the ground off and let it sit for a few then it will crank up fine

    I am still suspicious of this battery. Why don't you disconnect it completely and use another car's battery and see if the problem goes away.
