98 dodge stratus issues
Hi folks,
My lady has a 8 dodge stratus. It ran fine up until yesterday. She was off a couple days, went out to start it and it just cranked. We wore down the battery so went to jump it and the whole car went dead. Not a click and no lights, nothing. Did we some how trigger a kill switch if they even have that? Her auto door lock does not work so she gets in and out with the key if that matters.
Thanks

First thing you have to determine is the health of the battery and the battery cables. So have the battery charged up and clean and tighten the cables. Once you get the engine at least cranking over, you can begin to diagnose the no-start. It can be dangerous to try and jump start a completely dead battery, so use a battery charger.
If you REALLY want to get into this, here's a VIDEO that outlines a diagnostic system for a no-start.
