Car Buying Advice - Audi vs. Mercedes Lease

Hello, I am looking to do my first lease ever. I am looking at an Audi a5 sportback, c300 sedan/coupe, and an e300. Today I began my car search and loved the a5 sportback, but as it is fresh off the boat the lease deals still seem out of whack for their level. If I wait 4-5 months do you believe they would settle down? If not, I am off to look at my next best options, Mercedes. Initially I loved the c300 coupes, but as I just learned today, coupes lease much higher than sedans for some reason. Does anyone know any competitive numbers for an e300 and c300 sedan that I can send around to dealers to get more firm numbers? Should I wait til the end of the summer when I actually need a car? Any specific advice for leasing in general?

Thanks, Chris

In very general terms, Audis do not lease as well as MB. And, as you've noted, the 2018 A5 SB is really expensive, as they are brand new.

Will the deals get better on them in a few months? I'd say yes, but likely won't ever be as good as the E or C sedan.

There are separate threads for each of the cars you mention; I'd suggest you check them out to see what others are paying.

And, my last suggestion - test drive them all and see which one you will enjoy driving for the next 3 years. A great lease deal isn't so great if you don't like the car.

In that price range, I'd get exactly what I want.

Did you get a good deal? Be sure to come back and let us know! Post a pic of your new purchase or lease!
