To calculate the correct residual, do I multiply the residual percentage and the MSRP, or the residual percentage and the the actual sale price? Thank you.

I'm trying to figure out what residual percentage the Dealer is actually using.

Dealer in PA quoting me as follows on a 2017 GLS450: MSRP $81,180 Sale Price $72,780 Residual $45,480

36 months 12k miles/yr.... payment = $881/mo. Something doesn't seem right
