Can i lease a car with an out of state drivers license if my residence is in that state?

I jsut moved to South Carolina from Texas and i have a Texas Drivers License, I know once in a new state you have 30 days to change said info but you cant do so without certain items which i lack, can i still lease a car in Sc or do i have to get my DL transfered first

    I doubt you can lease a car with a South Carolina address, when your DL is still from Texas. Seems like that would throw up a red flag.
