check engine light, check VCS and check 4x4

hi i was driving today and all the sudden my engine cut out and then came three warning lights indicating: Check enigne system check VCS system check 4x4 system mileage is on 59,000 miles. worst thing is i dont have any warrently. Why would this happen as anyone experienced any simular situation.

The causes are numerous. Short of wild guesses from a long list, your only good option for starters is to have the car professionally scanned to see if there are any indicators of which system to investigate. Hopefully it's just a sensor malfunction somewhere. You might be some default mode.

thank you for your reply. ok i have it booked in for monday so hopefully it wont be a major fault. will keep this forum posted. again thanks for the advise
