New to lease and need help on the #s got from a dealer on 2017 Hyundai Sonata plug in hybrid.
MSRP: $35,160
Adjusted Price (after rebate + discount for lease) : $24,161
Doc fee: 599
Acquisition fee: 595
Tax 338
Tax fees: 245
MF: .000120
Residual factor : 45%
RV: $16,024
36 months/12K miles - $215/month
Down payment: $2700 down.
The down payment seems high. The dealer is willing to work with down payment. How much should I negotiate to lower the down payment to make it a deal?
Thank you in advance for your input.

    .00012 MF and 45% residual for 36/12
    $6919 lease cash

There is no need for any down payment, if you don't want to. Dealers like to quote leases with a lot of money upfront, to make the monthly price seem cheap.

With the current deal, if you just put $700 upfront, the payment would be about $271/mo.
