So a piece of my cooling fan broke for my 2002 BMW 325i will be fine to keep it like that or what should I do?

Is the fan blade connected to a belt and pulley? If so, the imbalance will eventually cause it to explode, and probably take out your cooling system with it. That will cause you to overheat within a couple of minutes, and might destroy your engine.

Stop driving it, and have your car checked by a competent mechanic. It may have already done some damage when the piece broke off.
