I’m not 100% sure what is wrong with my van but it will go into gear just wont shift after about 10 minutes of driving it. If I turn it off and back on it will start shifting again then the RPM lights flicker and it stops shifting, I’m a single mom and on a really tight budget

What are "RPM lights"? You mean the dash lights flicker?
