Looking to lease a 2018 Mercedes GLS

trying to lease a 2018 GLS in Southern Cal. What is best MF/ and discount on car I can expect? Trying to keep payment under $1k. Should i be looking at the 2017? Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks.

GLS450 36/15
2018: .00122 MF and 55% residual
2017: .00071 MF and 54% residual

I'd guess the 2017 will end up with a lower payment, due to bigger discounts on the outgoing model.
No clue on what those discounts might be, though.
