Help! Been working on this deal and I love this car but it still seems a little high. What do you think?

    The calculations all look good.
Money factor and residual are correct, as well.

Considering the low residuals on the A6, this doesn't look bad.
The only way to lower the monthly payment is to negotiate a bigger discount.

  • 1. Does Audi refund unused extra miles that were purchased at the beginning of the lease?

    2. Can the purchase of the extra miles be a part of the monthly payments?

    3. Does the purchase of extra miles change the residual?

    4. What is the highest mileage lease currently available from Audi?

    1) Don't know for sure, but doubtful
    2) Usually
    3) Usually, that's how it works. Instead of paying for extra miles, the residual is reduced, instead. So, if it's $0.20 per mile, an extra 1000 miles/yr on a 3 yr lease, would reduce the residual by $600.
    4) 15K/yr. - after that, residual reduced on a per-mile basis. No idea what the CAP might be, but likely 25K/yr, though possibly higher

Answers won't be any different for other makes.
