Lower Intake Manifold problems?

I just bought a 2014 Kia Sedona with 60K. This 3 year old car had a P200A code and a TSB. Th entire Lower Intake Manifold needed replaced! IS THIS COMMON? I need ammunition for Kia Mfg. to get them to compensate me for the $837 bill I just had to pay on this new car! If this is what Kia builds, run for the hills!
