yes that amount is the adjusted cap cost, I believe...Is it unreasonable to try and negotiate the price of the vehicle then talk about a lease? I went to the dealership and asked for their best price for the suv, $21,324 is what they said then I asked them to give me a lease offer based on that number and they said they cannot do that...Is that true?
So, is that the total amount due at signing? Or, is it a down payment, plus first payment, etc? Or, is it open to interpretation?
Many makes have different incentives for purchase vs. lease. You can definitely negotiate the sale price, but if you don't tell them you want to lease, then their offer may have incentives included, that have to be removed.
I can't tell you if that's the case, here. But, likely.

Is $2000 the full amount due at signing?
Is the agreed price the same amount as the adjusted CAP cost?
