have a 2005 tdi what year of body parts are interchangeable and will a regular jetta interachange

    The only way to know that for sure is to use a wrecking yard's Hollander Interchange database or to check part #s with a VW dealer. Many mechanical parts do interchange and probably most body parts but there definitely could be subtle differences regarding how things bolt on, and in clearances.
