I recently purchased a 2010 bmw 328i coupe. I keep getting an alarm pop up every so often of a triangle with a circle around it and above it the word "brake". It goes out after awhile. Had the car checked couldent find anything that would cause it.

Is it possible that it's the warning that the ABS/traction control system is engaged? Does it happen when you are spinning tires, or taking a corner fairly fast?

Either traction control is faulty or you need new tires. Winter time...maybe roads are cold and icy?
