Anything special about Civic Hybrid transmission fluid?

Took my trusty 2003 Civic Hybrid to a Honda dealer for an oil change in our new retirement city. Didn't check Yelp first. Proposed $1800 repair. Ended up changing transmission fluid and now it's stuck in my driveway. Can't shift.

Yes, the transmission is a CVT and only Honda ATF DW-1 fluid should be used.

CVT fluid is for CVT transmission while DW-1 is for automatic transmissions.

Honda does not use specific CVT fluid for their CVT's. From the 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid owner's manual: Page 206-207 states--"Always use Honda ATF-Z1
(Automatic Transmission Fluid). If it is not available, you may use a DEXRON III automatic
transmission fluid as a temporary replacement. However, continued use can affect shift quality. Have the transmission flushed and refilled with Honda ATF-Z1 as soon as it is convenient."

Honda ATF-Z1 is no longer manufactured and has been superseded by Honda ATF DW-1. DW-1 is backwards compatible with Z1. My original answer is correct (btw I had researched this for you before posting the first time).
