2006 G35X- Lock + Alarm Issue

Hi...
My car won't manually lock from the inside AND when I use the key [instead of the fob] to unlock it, the alarm goes off [and it continues even after I start the engine]. I'm guessing these 2 things are related. [using the fob to unlock is fine...no alarm]. Any ideas? thank you...

    You might check in your owner's manual and try an alarm reset procedure. If that doesn't help, the security system will have to be professionally scanned to see if there are any hints there. Since it works well with the fob, I'm not suspecting a defective door or hood switch.
