Why does my car shake?

when my goes on or over 2500 rpm it shakes but not all the time. I heard it was the fuel pump but idk does anyone have a clue?

Is this a shake you feel in the steering wheel, or only in the seat of your pants? What is the year and make?

I'll advise you check the suspension properly including the brake pads & dics.
