2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback

I was wondering if anyone has seen the new 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback arrive at their local dealers?

I received a message from a local dealer yesterday letting me know that they have one 2019 Corolla Hatchback that is on the way. It hit the port on Wednesday 7/11/18 and it will now have to be delivered from the port to the dealer via truck. It shouldn't be too much longer now.

I test drove a SE trim Corolla Hatchback last weekend. The model I drove had a CVT. I'm not a fan of CVTs but I will say the one the Corolla with the launch gear is better than the other CVTs I've driven. I'll admit my experience driving CVTs has been somewhat limited. I also tried the paddle "shifters" but I don't know if they are really needed or helpful in the Corolla. I think I could live with the CVT in the Corolla but I wonder how the manual transmission behaves.

The Sport mode button made the engine sound louder and gave it a little growl but it wasn't the most pleasing sound. The stereo sounded decent and the SE trim that i drove is not available with the upgraded JBL sound system. The build quality seems just fine. What I have come to expect with Toyota. I would like to see the XSE but I think if you're looking for an inexpensive car, you would be happy with the SE trim. It's still well equipped.
