Government fees go to the state for title/registration.808supsurf said:didn't negotiate a selling price yet from MSRP at $68,995 will target 7% off or negotiated price $64,165.
right now with current MSRP adjusted cap cost is $61,587.29 with $4500 cash down and $4750 rebate.
Residual value at $40,707.05 with .59 RF.
what would you recommend as cash down? $3000 and more to negotiate off MSRP?
total fees: Doc Fee: $325 + Acquisition Fee: $ 925
+ Government Fee( not sure what this is): $ 522.29
also are any fees besides acquisition fees up for negotiation?
CA restricts doc fees to $80
You really only need to pay 1st payment and government fees at signing.
No point in getting a monthly payment quote, until you've negotiated the selling price.Edmunds Price Checker

The money factor is marked up the maximum allowed. That adds about $45/mo. to the payment
What is the selling price and/or adjusted CAP cost?
With $4500 upfront, that's definitely not a good deal.
