Roof seal leaking in '06 GP GXP

I've suspected a leak the last few weeks, but have come to realize that it is the seal in the roof that runs the length from front to back, on the driver's side between the sunroof and the edge of the roof. Even though I live in Florida, am I wrong to think that this seal (in particular) should not leak? Should I call GM on it?? Obviously the car is out of warranty, but it has ruined my interior headliner and even drips down to my carpet. Any advice?

Do you have a sunroof that might be leaking?

I do have a sunroof, but I've found that the leak is in the roof seal. Several google searches revealed that this is common in some cars, although I would think the quality of the GXP would warrant a better seal. I talked to Pontiac Customer Service about this today, and of course they offer no recourse. Looks like a YouTube video and some kitchen silicone to the rescue!

    What is a "roof seal"?

I think the OP is looking for a seal that goes between the roof panel and the side panel that's above the doors.

Oh a roof RAIL seal. I get it.

He might try a latex caulk. Way less messy.
