I have a 94 GC Limited with the 4.O 6. Being all wheel drive mixed use I averaged 16.5mpg. When I had purchased it I was told the plugs, wires etc were replaced. So I checked after a couple months of driving the plugs and how it even still ran on all cylinders is beyond me. Anyway I did cap, rotor, plugs, wires, air filter and fuel filter. Next thing I know even after 1000 miles I average 13.7 mpg, the mileage went down instead of up. Next I had the exhaust checked and it was fine so I put on a new charcoal canister and purge valve. I love this Jeep but cannot figure out what else to do.. anymore ideas? I would greatly appreciate it. I also replaced the O2 sensor, still no change and I'm no lead foot
