2019 rdx problems with engine stopping and restarting when stopped at lights or in traffic

Hi,

I’m interested in getting the 2019 rdx with advance package. Has anyone had any issues with the car’s engine stoppping and restarting when stopped at a light or in traffic. I’m not sure I like that feature.

Hi - I like it. Implented fairly well compared to others I've experienced. It will not activate unless conditions are right, i.e., engine is warmed up enough, A/C isn't taxing other systems etc. 

There is also an on/off switch so you can disable the feature if you'd like.

Most people say they get used to it. It really depends on how well the manufacturer engineered it. On some cars, it's barely detectable, on others it's really annoying. Speaking for myself, I'd probably disable it--although I'm not sure if, on your car, you have to disable it each and every time you start the car up.
