Open gate light. - Electrical issues

My 1999 Dodge Durango 5.2L has open gate light and when it turns on, power locks don't work, radio don't work, none of my headlight and taillights don't work power windows work and it still drives any ideas what to look for to fix it?

That's going to require some serious detective work. First thing I'd do is get a complete wiring diagram and see where these functions might intersect. It seems quite strange that a "tailgate open" warning light would disable the headlights and radio. We'd have to figure out how this is even possible. A defective sensor or faulty harness in the tailgate area might explain the tail lights but without a diagram it's hard to know how the other functions could get disabled. Perhaps there is some relay that controls all those circuits?
