I was told the 2019 are in production as of early Sept. I received 3k off the MSRP of a 2018 Select 4x4. However, the leasing numbers are still not great. Is there now room to negotiate lease terms on 2018 models? I'm in NE.

36/15 lease
52% residual
APR 1.96%

We show the base APR as 1.46% in your area.
    52% residual is correct.
    No lease incentives

I received several quotes with APRs @ 1.46 and even one @ 1.41. Dealer @ 1.96 says they add half a point to improve their margin. Won't budge. I may need to walk. Frustrated.

New development: I used a lease calculator and crunched the #s with a 1.46 APR from another dealer. The math did not work. The Lincoln dealer's monthly lease payment was $110 more per month. I sent the dealer a screenshot of the lease calculator. His explanation was they did not use an APR of 1.46, but a lease factor of 1.46 that somehow mysteriously includes an ADP (additional dealer profit) that adds 3600+ over three years. What?!?! The same thing for the dealer charging 1.96 APR -- although at least he only tacked on a hidden $70 per month. Is this standard practice for Lincoln dealers to slip in an unidentified ADP during lease negotiations?

We don't get a lot of traffic from Lincoln shoppers, so it's hard to say, but it's common on luxury car dealers, in general.

That's why you get the information here, so you know what to look for.
