I have a 1998 Isuzu Rodeo 4X4 and the transmission has died. I also have a 2002 Isuzu Rodeo 4X2 parts car. Does anyone know if the transmissions are interchangable?

You'd have to check with a wrecking yard that has access to the Hollander Interchange database. You could also post an inquiry on specialized Isuzu Forums, like this one:

The main thing to remember is --don't take anyone's word for it unless they've checked the Hollander Interchange or unless they have actually done the swap themselves.
