Was just told by dealer I need new brakes due to rust on rotor. Car has 9800 mi. Told rust due to living along eastern coast of florida. Cost for repair $600 if I don't need rotors. Anybody else have similar issues?

Are you experiencing any actual issues with the brakes?

All brake rotors get "rusty" overnight. What do your brakes look like, right after driving?

Our highlander that is almost 3 years old needs new rotors due to rust. Is this normal for new Toyota highlanders? We bought it new, had all required maintenance done from Toyota. Thanks in advance for any replys
