Strange Leak on Passenger Side
I bought my 5th Toyota and second Highlander Limited in November 2017. It has 8,000 miles on it. There is some strange liquid that leaks on the passenger side. It isn't oil, but is a little oily and leaves some sort of gummy residue. It makes a splat design on my concrete floor. I clean it up with baking soda, which absorbs the liquid and then I scrape up the residue with a putty knife. It leaves a stain.
The service department at my dealer said it is something the car gets rid of from my ventilated seats. I don't even use them because the sound of air blowing bothers me. They say it's like the condensation from using the air conditioner, but it's this other liquid. Am thinking that's not correct.
Has anyone else had this problem or know what it could be?
