Hello. I have a 1990 Buick Lesabre Limited that I got from my deceased uncle. He had matching sheep skin seat covers on the front seats that I want to take off and clean. The problem is getting them off the seats requires removing the headrest. The headrests have a single flat post in the center with no buttons. Looked on google and youtube but no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

How weird. You might pull up the little plastic piece at the base of that flat post and then peek down the hole. There might be a spring-loaded pin like on some Impalas.

Is there a small hole somewhere in the holder around the slide? I found somewhere that putting a paperclip into the hole holds open the catch.

Or try a flat blade like a steak knife slide next to the bar to release the spring catch.

I looked in my 93 leSabre book and it is missing the seat section.

Some seat rest stems also have a little slide-tab at the base.
