I recently (mid Oct 2018) purchased a 2018 Toyota RAV4 SE and I got the Toyota ExtraCare that covers me for 7 years/75,000miles for $2,500. I'm not sure if that's a good deal. Should I cancel it? I'm from New York so would appreciate it if price is reflective of its location/area.

One of the reasons for getting a Toyota or Honda is the reputation for reliability and low maintenance/repair costs. The vehicle is already covered for 3/36 and the drivetrain is 5/60, right?

Seems like a lot of money for a little coverage.

I once paid $1000 for a 6yr/100K extended warranty on a Honda CR-V. When I sold it at 106K miles, I'd collected exactly ZERO on the warranty.

I think I will cancel it and then go see if I can find a better deal at another dealership. I don't know anything about cars so if something goes wrong with the car, I just want to have that for myself.
