Dodge Ram Van Conversion

I have just purchased a 2000 Dodge Ram Van Primetime model with 32,000 miles. I would like to convert it into a campervan and need additional head room for that purpose. I am finding it difficult to see how to install (or have it installed) a pop top unit. The Primetime roof line is not the same as a cargo van.....lots of lights, wood accents etc. Any experience with this? Advice? Other conversion examples?

Here are some businesses doing CONVERSIONS

    Not cheap, though.

This may not be a good idea. It looks like doing a really pro conversion would cost you just as much as you paid for the van itself. It might be better for you to sell that and get something already done.

I see what you mean about the roof---you'd be losing all those accessories up there on your high top.
