can i swap transfer case

I have a 2000 chey Silverado. I recently found a transfer case out of a 2005 Tahoe. same style transfer case
(246) but the electric shift motor has a different plug from what is on my truck. the truck has a plug with 6
wires going to it and another plug with 4 wires going to the face of incoder motor. the 2005 transfer case
has 1 plug only with 7 wires going to it. I checked and cant interchange the 2 encoder motors so was wondering
about a wiring diagram to rewire for 2005 plug. I cant seem to find a clear diagram on either one. any help would greatly be appreciated.

If you found your unit in a salvage yard, many of those yards are plugged into the Hollander's Interchange Database, which gives good information on which swaps are feasible.
