How would upgrading fabric seats to custom seats after market affect the resale value?

I replaced the fabric seat covers in my Honda Fit with cream Naugahyde in a diamond pattern (like the top level S class Mercedes). Would this enhance or detract from resale value?

It won't really affect value. It could be something of a sales tool for the particular buyer who might like what you like, but on the other hand, some buyers won't like it---so it sort of balances out in terms of value.

It's the icing, not the cake.

But by all means, broadcast it in your ad, if you're selling.
