How do you adjust the side power sliding door cables on a Toyota Sienna 2001 minivan?
Vehicle: 2001 Toyota Sienna LE minivan
Vehicle Subsystem: Passenger side power sliding door.
Problem: The power slider door opens half way, then tries to close, but fails to close within 6 inches. I have taken the cable assembly apart and discovered the steel wire shielding was jammed in the rear pully. Cleaned it all out.
Question: How do you align/adjust the steel cables in the unit. Putting it back together (what I recall as it was originally), the cables do not align. They are either to short or too long. Anyone have the procedure to adjust/align the cables?
