I have a 96 Dodge Dakota Sport 3.9 4WD 5 speed. The truck runs great when its cold, but once the engine warms up and I go to slow down or come to a stop it dies. A little hard to restart unless you really give it gas. Also the lights go dim before it stalls. Any help? Thank you.

It would be a really good idea to have the car scanned for trouble codes and for some real-time data. Something is changing with regards to engine or air temperature apparently, and maybe the fuel/air ratio is getting screwy.

Stalling can be a complex problem because there are so many possible causes. You can't be working blind here, or you'll waste a lot of money guessing and/or listening to other people's guesses.
