Gauges on the fritz

I have a 2011 Buick Enclave and yesterday I was driving and the gauges just quit working the car was still running but nothing worked the radio shut off and everything so I put the car in park and shut it off. Which was the wrong thing to do apparently because it wouldn’t start for about 30 min. Now I finally got it home but the gauges are still on the fritz. What would cause this to happen?

You might check all the appropriate fuses

You could do a "wiggle test" under the dash to see if there's a bad connector that might re-active the gauges

You could scan the car for trouble codes.
