Rear Windshield Wiper Repair

The rear windshield wiper motor seems to work fine, however the wiper arm seems to be extended from the glass such that it never makes contact to wipe the surface. I'd hate to replace the whole motor assembly if it's just a bent arm or bolt. Any thought?

Thanks!

Rear wiper arms tend to corrode and seize at the pivot. Sometimes they can be lubricated and made to work again by removing the arm outing it in a vise and exercising it. Most of the time though it's best to just buy a replacement arm.

I had same problem. Remove the plastic cover, remove set-screw and pry the arm off the spline. Ebay your model / year. From China...$15...USA $23
