Mazda Lease turn in - Excessive wear and tear fees

Hi,

I understand that Honda provides a $500 allotment toward excessive wear and tear repairs, if needed, at lease end. It can also be used to pay for excess mileage fees.

It is free and included in (I believe) all Honda lease contracts.

Does Mazda provide some type of allotment/waiver as well?

I don't think they do. Chase bank runs Mazda leases (dba Mazda Credit).

I've never heard that you could apply the Honda allotment to mileage overage, though.

The 2015 Civic I turned in this year had scratches, costing a couple hundred dollars in repairs.

It may be that they can reduce my over-mileage fees regardless; I was given a small credit from I don't know where, reducing those fees a bit. After that was applied, I was told that the remaining balance (from the $500) would be applied, and it reduced my over-mileage fees a bit more.
