Wheel sizes

Looking at a 2019 cx9 touring with standard 18" wheels.My son owns a 2018 cx9 and put aftermarket
20" wheels on it because it " looks better"

Our dealership does not stock a 20" wheel and my question is will a 19" wheel perform better than the
18" or would you stay with the 18"? The 19 comes in the cx5

I am 70 years and not too concerned which looks better

More interested in performance, mileage, etc

    Upsizing wheels will most likely only have negative effects. Rougher ride and higher tire replacement cost. Plus, a higher initial cost.
