One wiper only goes one way. It doesn't go back and forth.

When turned on, the driver's side windshield wiper pivots to the left completely past the edge of the windshield and stays there. I can physically move it back to the resting position, but it doesn't fix the problem. 2003 Camry

You might try aligning the wipers: When you do this, you can also check that the bolt holding the wiper hasn't come loose.
