Trying to exit lease for 2017 CRV lease

Hello,

New to the forum. I am piggybacking from Leasehackr and wanted to get some advice here, I have a 2017 Honda CRV EX that I leased. I wished I had the knowledge that I have now as it seems to not be a great lease.

I had a 08 Scion XB that I rolled into the lease with 3500 negative equity and I am currently paying $445 monthly for the CRV but placed no money down.

I am trying to exit the lease in the next 6-8 months, I have 16 months left now and my payoff is 25k. Should I stick it out or could I find a much better lease and hope that the dealer would max out my trade so I am not stuck putting too much negative equity into the next lease?

Thanks,
Jack

Trading out with negative equity got you in this position. Doing it again won't help.

Just ride it out. Your lease payment is reasonable. The extra $100/mo is paying off your previous debt.
