2018 S3 Leftover Lease Pricing
Hello:
I found a 2018 Audi S3 Premium Plus leftover in another city. I'm trying to work with a local dealer on it, but their monthly payments are absolutely crazy. $848/mo for 39 months, 7,500 miles/year, $0 down. Every $1,000 down takes $30/mo off they say.
MSRP is $53005.00. I tried to get them to agree to $44,000 sale price, but they claim they're "losing money on transport" if they do this, so they came back with $46,074.070. I'd be registering the car in 15222 zip code.
They're saying this number is "invoice pricing," the money factor is 0.00075, and the residual is $19,992 at lease end for this vehicle. Does any of this sound valid? It sounds like they're blowing the money factor way up, but I'm not sure how to call them out on that. Any help?

$3000 dealer market allowance
Lease tax in PA is 10%-11% rate, so that doesn't help
Residuals for the S3 are very, very low, and that doesn't help, either.

You could buy the car for that kind of payment.
The S3 is not special enough for an $800/mo payment.
