keeps stalling.. turn ignition on again and it goes..for a couple of klms then stops again.. feels like fuel, but its had a new fuel filter and new fuel pump..
anyone know..? could it be drawing air in somewhere and making it stall..would that do it..
open to suggestions for a friend.. spent lots on mechanic.. replaced engine...cant spend any more..aged pensioner in a no public transport area.

There are many causes for stalling, and you could spend a lot of money guessing. The car needs a proper diagnosis to determine what is "lost" at the time of the stall. Either fuel, fuel pressure, injector pulse or spark has been interrupted. Has anyone ever checked the camshaft and crankshaft positioning sensors?
